Millions of Brits are still facing hosepipe bans despite plenty of recent rain and it almost being November. ‌

During the summer, droughts were declared in Yorkshire, Cumbria and Lancashire, Greater Manchester Merseyside and Cheshire, East Midlands, West Midlands. While parts of Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire, East Anglia, Thames and South Downs experienced prolonged, dry weather . ‌
