In less than a week, clocks will "fall back" an hour as daylight saving time comes to an end.
The days have already been getting shorter in South Dakota. In Sioux Falls, the last 7 p.m. sunset of the year happened Oct. 15 , and there won't be another until the clocks "spring forward" again in the spring.
