LYNN, Ind. — A Randolph County man was arrested after he allegedly committed sexual battery against a teen, according to the Lynn Police Department.
Phillip Whiteman was charged with the following: • Sexual Battery, a Level 6 Felony • Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor, a Class B Misdemeanor
On Monday, Oct. 20, at 4:39 p.m. Randolph County authorities learned of a report of sexual abuse in the town of Lynn.
According to court documents, Whiteman allegedly inappropriately touched an 18-year-old victim.
Further, the suspect reportedly provided alcohol to the woman.
Whiteman denied the claims of sexual battery and referred to them as a "boldface lie."
