ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Everyone deserves a second chance at life whether you walk on two legs or four. At Little Lisa’s Rescue in Rockford, hundreds of sick or injured animals are rescued, rehabilitated and released.

Lisa and her husband Mike Beardsworth have spent several years rescuing and rehabilitating wildlife from baby squirrels and opossums to rabbits, woodchucks and even coyotes. Every year, they help give more than 300 animals a second chance at life.
