RENSSELAERVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- New York State Police arrested a Rensselaer man for alleged reckless driving that led to a school bus crash on Monday in Rensselaerville. Troopers said Curtis L. Williams, 20, of Rensselaer, is facing charges of second-degree reckless endangerment, five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and vehicle and traffic violations.
State police responded to the crash that shut down part of Route 145 between Fox Creek Road and Route 81 at 7:26 a.m. According to authorities, an investigation found that Williams was driving recklessly at a high speed when he crossed into the northbound lane and hit a Middleburgh Central School District bus.
