NORTHFIELD, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - State investigators are saying that a fire is not suspicious after a man was reported dead in a camper fire on Friday morning.
Northfield responders were called to a camper on Water Street near Wall Street at about 5:00 a.m. Friday. According to reports, by the time firefighters arrived the camper as well as a nearby home were engulfed in flames.
The body of Robert Edson, 38, was recovered after the fire was extinguished. According to state investigators, the fire started inside Edson's camper and is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
