DELHI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WXIX) - The Delhi Township Police Department is sounding the alarms for residents after noticing a recent increase in vehicle thefts in the area.

Two teenagers and a young adult were taken into custody overnight Wednesday into Thursday in two separate incidents involving stolen cars.

In one case, police found a stolen vehicle in a parking lot at an apartment complex on Glenhaven Road with two teen suspects, one 14 and one 15, still in the car.

“We made a decision to canvas the area at night with unmarked patrol and drone patrol, and we were lucky and we were able to catch them in the process,” Lt. Joe Macaluso said.
