LEE Co., Iowa (KWQC) - Five people were injured, including one child who was thrown from the car, during a rollover crash Sunday.
A Chrysler was driving north when it went onto the left shoulder at 9:05 a.m. on Highway 27, according to Iowa State Patrol.
The driver then overcorrected causing the car to slide across the northbound lanes and into the ditch, troopers said.
The car then rolled and finally rested on its wheels. Troopers said a child was thrown from the back seat during the crash.
The five people injured in the crash were taken by ambulance to an area hospital:
Nathan T. Oden, 32, of Union Grove, Alabama
Amanda M. Hufnagle, 29, of Union Grove, Alabama
An 11-year-old child
A 5-year-old child
A 3-year-old child
The crash is being investigated.
