President Donald Trump kicked off another round of questions about his health after he disclosed to reporters that he’d recently undergone a previously unreported medical procedure.
Speaking aboard Air Force One en route to Tokyo for high-level meetings, Trump revealed that he’d had an MRI scan done during his recent physical exam at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
“I did. I got an MRI. It was perfect,” Trump told reporters on Monday, per CNN.
The president added, “I gave you the full results. We had an MRI, and the machine, you know, the whole thing, and it was perfect.”
The White House had previously said only that Trump had undergone “advanced imaging” during the physical exam, NBC News reported.
