Wellton hosted its first joint work session with the Yuma County Board of Supervisors on Oct. 21 to review recent collaborations and discuss upcoming projects aimed at strengthening local infrastructure and community development.
“Wellton is so thankful for our Yuma County Board of Supervisors, especially our District 3 Supervisor Darren Simmons and County Administrator Ian McGaughey,” said Wellton Town Manager Richard Marsh. “When we pick up the phone, they are there to help us, and we appreciate it. It’s these kinds of partnerships that help the Town of Wellton truly thrive.”
During the session, local leaders highlighted several recent projects that reflect the growing cooperation between the town and the county.
