EXCLUSIVE: Actor and filmmaker Sujata Day has signed with Stagecoach Entertainment for representation in all areas.

The Pittsburgh native is an NAACP Image Award-nominated director for her debut feature film, Definition Please , which she also wrote, produced, and starred in. The film follows Day as a former Scripps Spelling Bee champion who must reconcile with her estranged brother when he returns home to help care for their sick mother. Boasting a 95% fresh Rotten Tomatoes score and multiple film festival awards, the dramedy was executive produced by Mindy Kaling, then acquired by Ava DuVernay’s Array and Netflix.
