A glance at the box score shows that New Mexico State quarterback Logan Fife played a terrible game against Missouri State. He threw four interceptions, one of which ended the Aggies' overtime drive against Missouri State on Wednesday, Oct. 22, that led to a 24-17 loss.

Fife didn't play his best game, and there were throws that he probably wishes he hadn't thrown in hindsight. But whether a quarterback plays great, good, bad or ugly, there's always a story behind the box score.

Aggies coach Tony Sanchez believes this was the case last Wednesday.

"He didn't play a terrible game," Sanchez said during a press conference on Monday, Oct. 27. "There are a couple of things that when you're the quarterback, you get all the glory, and you get all the heat, too. It's like being a coach."
