PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Tuesday, October 28 is the last day to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot in Pennsylvania for next week's election.
You can apply in person, on line or by mail, but your application has to be in by 5 p.m. on that day.
On Monday, Philadelphia election officials called on city voters to turn around the embarrassing trend of low turnout.
Officials say already 100,000 ballots have been requested by mail, but tradition shows thousands will not be returned.
They reminded voters they can visit a satellite location if they have damaged their mail in or absentee ballot and need a replacement.
Also voters should make sure they put that ballot into the yellow secrecy envelope and then into the return envelope, which needs to be signed and dated.
