SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - In South Bend, any late-night commuters should avoid the Portage and Cleveland Road intersection on Monday night.
Scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. the traffic signals at the Cleveland and Portage intersection will be temporarily out of service due to maintenance.
Drivers should expect the intersection to operate as a four way stop until the work has been completed.
The upgrades will include new signal heads, vehicle detection technology, and improvements to help the flow of traffic.
Commuters can plan for the intersection light to be up and running again by 6 p.m.
