A man died and another was injured in a workplace fall outside an apartment building in Rockland, Massachusetts, on Monday, officials said.

The maintenance workers were on North Avenue doing work on their condominium complex when they fell from a boom lift about 10:42 a.m., according to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office.

First responders found a 72-year-old man dead at the scene and rushed the other man to South Shore Hospital for treatment, prosecutors said. They didn't share his condition or any other information about him.

Police were investigating what led to the deadly fall, prosecutors said.
