SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Monday was an overcast, but dry, day. Rain chances will quickly increase overnight and linger all day Tuesday.
MONDAY NIGHT
Rain begins in western Siouxland. Overcast and cool. Lows in the mid and upper 40s.
TUESDAY
Rain arrives along the I-29 corridor a couple hours before sunrise. Rain will be most persistent in central and eastern Siouxland all day. There is still a decent bit of uncertainty in the location of the heaviest rain tomorrow, but models are focusing in on northwest Iowa to receive the most.
East of I-29, 0.75″ to 1.25″ of rain are possible. Along the I-29 corridor, 0.5″ to 0.75″ are possible. West of I-29, 0.25″ to 0.5″ are expected.
As if the rain wasn’t enough, Tuesday will also be fairly breezy. A northwesterly wind will pick up during the day. T
