FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - A new improv comedy club has opened in Fort Wayne, bringing “spontaneous artistic expression” to the Summit City.

Michael Bradt, who has been involved with improv comedy for over 20 years, opened Fort Wayne Improv after moving to the area last year. He sold his improv theater near Chicago and relocated to Fort Wayne.

“I was like, getting itchy within the first week of being here. I was like ‘Hey, you know what would be really cool in Fort Wayne? An Improv theater,’” Bradt said.

Bradt secured a space at 1314 East State Boulevard, previously the Big Tooth Furniture Shop, and began its transformation.
