The Delaware Council on Development Finance has approved funding of up to $1,000,000 to make it possible for a DuPont spin-off to relocate and keep more than 200 jobs in Delaware.
Corteva' s lease at Chestnut Run Plaza expires at the end of 2025. The ag-tech company now plans to move into what was known as The Brandywine Building when it was built in 1970 in downtown Wilmington. 1000 North West, a 19-story building, is now owned and managed by Buccini Pollin Group.
The Delaware Prosperity Partnership supported Corteva's application to the CDF for a $500,000 retention performance aware grant and a good-and-services grant, also amounting $500,000. Distribution of the money would be dependent on Corteva meeting commitments outlined for the Council on Development Finance.
