FENTRESS COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - The parents accused of starving two adopted children in Fentress County have pleaded guilty to aggravated child abuse and neglect.
Jason and Jessica Klimp were charged in February 2024 after one of their adopted children was treated at a hospital for malnourishment. The victim was believed to be six years old, but it was found she was actually 12 years old after she was taken to East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
