Wentz was wearing a shoulder brace that would help him make it through the game, but it appears that his injury was far worse than expected. The good news is that the Vikings will get back J.J. McCarthy this week, after the young signal caller finally healed from an ankle injury.

Wentz posted a 2-3 record in the five games he started while McCarthy was healing from his ankle injury. He threw 1,216 yards, six touchdowns, and five interceptions in that time.
