CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The Chatham County Police Department said they are investigating a homicide in the 100 block of Oyster Shell Road.

Police said it appears this stems from an incident where the parties involved were known to each other.

The investigation is in its early stages, Chatham County Police said they will release information as it becomes available.

“The Chatham County Police Department is the only investigative agency in this case, and any information that comes from another agency or source may or may not be accurate at this time,” wrote the police department on a social media post.
