The Eagles on Monday opened a roster spot by releasing veteran cornerback Parry Nickerson.

Nickerson, 31, has played in five games with the Eagles this season. He played 8 snaps on defense and 8 on special teams in the 38-20 win over the Giants on Sunday afternoon.

Nickerson this season has played 12 snaps on defense and 60 on special teams. Before this season, Nickerson hadn’t played in a game since 2023 with the Dolphins.

This is the first spot on their 53-man roster the Eagles have opened up and they might need a few more.
