Convicted killer Jordan Tams has died while serving time at Barnard Castle, County Durham, aged just 18.
Tams was amongst three teenagers convicted of murdering Gary Belfield at Newcastle Crown Court in December, and he died on October 18. He was housed at the young offender institution HMP Deerbolt when he passed away, with the Prison Service confirming that, as with all custody deaths, the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman will investigate the circumstances.
