A woman accused of stalking Madeleine McCann’s family claiming to be the missing British girl told a court she still questions her true identity.
Julia Wandelt, 24, said she believed she may be the youngster because she had no memory of her childhood before the age of eight and did not look like her mum or dad who had refused to provide her with proof they were her real parents.
She said a sketch of a man suspected of snatching Madeleine - who vanished on holiday in Portugal in 2007 - looked ‘quite similar’ to someone who had ‘abused’ her.
