DES MOINES, Iowa —
For anyone who may be venturing out for trick-or-treating this week, you can expect some typically cool and dry October weather.
Warm costumes are a must with temperatures that will reach the mid-50s Thursday and Friday, but will be in the 40s for trick-or-treating.
The winds will keep calm for Beggars' night, but Friday could bring some gusting. The way it is looking now, winds could range around 10 to 15 mph Friday evening. That would put more of a chill in the air and more coats over costumes, potentially. The forecast can still adjust as we get closer.
