MAINE (WABI) - There are signs that the housing market in Maine is stabilizing.

According to data from Maine Listings, nearly 1,600 single-family existing homes changed hands in September.

The homes that did sell had a median sales price of $402,500, which is down from September of last year, when the median price was $408,000.

The Maine Association of Realtors says this is the second time this year that the median home sale price in Maine dropped in a year-over-year comparison.
