Despite the threat of campus closures and the potential of further funding cuts , St. Lawrence College (SLC) has launched a new degree program for students.

The program is the Bachelor of Commerce: Social Innovation degree, and it is being offered as a hybrid course at the Kingston campus, where students will spend two days a week in class and one day of online class, with SLC aiming to be accommodating for working professionals.

Thirty per cent of the course work will be delivered online, which the college is promoting as the potential for career growth while maintaining a work-life balance.
