Dermot Desmond has launched an astonishing farewell parting shot at Brendan Rodgers - and accused the outgoing Celtic boss of breaking his trust.
Rodgers sensationally quit the Parkhead club after a turbulent start to the season, resulting in a calamitous Champions League exit and a shambolic transfer window.
He repeatedly took aim at the board over the club's summer business - with raging fans ramping up the pressure on the hierarchy demanding their removal.
Punters have been demanding answers from principal shareholder Desmond , CEO Michael Nicholson and chairman Peter Lawwell.
And now, Irish tycoon Desmond has broken ranks by accusing Rodgers of "misleading" fans as he branded him "toxic".
