ROCKFORD, IL — Four former employees are reopening the 619,000-square-foot former Rockford Gunite factory and resurrecting the brand under a new company called Rockford Brake Manufacturing.

The new owners are: Brandon Bauman, director of operations; Scott Henderson, operations manager; Mike Brandi, engineering and IT manager; and Tim Davis, plant superintendent. They have hired industry veteran Paul Wright as their CEO.
