New details have emerged in the case of the 28-year-old woman doctor who was found dead in a hotel room late Thursday night. According to the latest reports, she died by suicide and left a note accusing two police personnel of rape and mental harassment.

She wrote a suicide note on her palm, naming police sub-inspector Gopal Badane, accused of raping her multiple times, and another personnel, Prashant Bankar, accused of mental and physical harassment.

A case has been registered against the two accused Maharashtra police personnel. "We have registered a case, and the body has been sent for post-mortem. We are also investigating the allegations mentioned in the suicide note on the victim's hand," an official spokesperson said.
