Sydney Sweeney isn’t taking any credit for the chatter about her love life.

Despite the wave of dating rumors that has followed her and her Anyone But You costar Glen Powell , the actress denied any romantic relationship between the two, insisting they did not play up their chemistry to promote the 2023 romantic comedy.

“The press did it themselves,” she told Variety in an interview published Oct. 27. “There was no leaning in, per se.”

While the rumor mill went into overdrive during the promotional blitz for the movie, the 28-year-old—who was engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino at the time—said she and Glen, 37, kept things professional.
