A man died at the scene of a horror collision involving three vehicles on a country road in High Peak.

Police and paramedics were called to the fatal crash on the A624 Chapel Road in Hayfield on Sunday (October 26).

The collision involved a Mini Clubman, Volkswagen Polo and a Mercedes Sprinter at around 7.35pm, Derbyshire Police said.

The driver of the Mini, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family are aware being supported by officers. The driver of the Polo suffered minor injuries.

A Derbyshire Police spokesperson added: "We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, as well as anyone who has any information."
