COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Serving as the head coach of a college football program is something Texas A&M offensive coordinator Collin Klein sees in his future.

However, the timing of such a move has to be just right, Klein said Monday during an open-week press conference.

“Absolutely. It’s been a dream and a goal of mine, but it’s about being with the right people at the right time and that’s here, right now,” Klein said.

With 12 Football Bowl Subdivision head coaches already sent marching orders, some programs will likely dip into the coordinator ranks for their next program leader. In multiple reports, Klein has been directly linked to the opening at Oklahoma State after the firing of 21-year head coach Mike Gundy earlier this season.
