The Great Lakes Outpost, headquartered in Grandville, opened the Belmont location at Cannonsburg Ski Are last May . The onsite ski shop opened for its winter season this month.

The outpost stocks brands like Burton, Union Binding Company, Volcom and Fjallraven.

Starting the season with a ski swap has been a longstanding tradition at Cannonsburg, said Danielle Musto, communications director at the local ski hill.
