KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Pro Bowl right guard Trey Smith is officially out for Monday night’s primetime matchup with the Washington Commanders.

The Chiefs’ official list of inactive players included Smith after the fifth-year pro did not participate in any practices this week. Smith missed most of Kansas City’s win over the Raiders last week due to a back injury.

Along with Smith, the Chiefs will have cornerback Kristian Fulton, wide receiver Jalen Royals, tight end Jared Wiley, running back Trey Smith, defensive end Malik Herring, and rookie left tackle Josh Simmons out.

Simmons will be missing his third consecutive game due to a personal matter.
