New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo will miss the remainder of the 2025 season after he suffered a gruesome ankle injury on Sunday, but the rookie seems to be staying positive.
Skattebo dislocated his ankle when he was dragged to the turf by a defender during the Giants' 38-20 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 8. He was carted off the field and transported to a local hospital for further evaluation.
Skattebo underwent surgery on Sunday evening, and all indications are that the procedure went well. The former Arizona State star shared a message on social media Monday night thanking fans for their support and expressing optimism.
"Thank you everyone for the support!! Surgery went well. I just want to thank the city of Philly for taking the best care of me. Every moment
