Chicago Bears rookie defensive lineman Shemar Turner is done for the season after suffering a knee injury against the Baltimore Ravens.
Turner, a second-round pick of the Bears in the 2025 NFL Draft, suffered a torn ACL during the game, head coach Ben Johnson said at a Monday press conference.
As a result, Turner is out for the remainder of his rookie season, a significant blow to a Bears defensive line that has been battling injuries for several weeks.
In five games this season, Turner has racked up six tackles, along with two tackles for loss.
Turner wasn’t the only Bears rookie to suffer an injury on Sunday. Wide receiver Luther Burden, a second-round pick out of Missouri who has 13 catches for 171 yards and a touchdown this season, was placed in the concussion protocol after Sunday
