LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) -With a 99-yard kickoff return to start off a 42-0 win against Oklahoma State, Texas Tech running back/kick returner J’Koby Williams became one of this week’s “Big 12 Special Teams Players of the Week”.

During the game-opening kickoff, many eyes were on the fans to see if tortillas would- or would not be thrown. Just seconds into the game, and after the tortilla-less kickoff, the stadium’s attention turned to No. 20 as he went coast-to-coast for the first touchdown of the day- a play that set the tone for Tech throughout the game.

“We were planning on getting a good kick return. We practiced it all week and I just seen the hole and I hit it,” Williams said Saturday night after the win.
