A State Representative is highlighting a webinar aiming to explain and outline the guidelines for the "Welcome Home Ohio" program.
State Representative Monica Robb Blasdel (R-New Waterford) announced in a news release on Monday that the Ohio Department of Development released the guidelines for the program.
House Bill 96, the state's operating budget, allocated $91.2 million in funding over the biennium for the program.
The Welcome Home Ohio program is described as eligible entities being chosen to purchase qualifying residential properties to rehabilitate or construct homes.
Eligible entities include:
Land banks
Land reutilization corporations
Electing subdivisions
Qualified nonprofit developers
Additionally, there is also $20 million in nonrefundable tax credits available throug
