On Sunday night, Forest Hill Stadium in Queens was nearly full with supporters gathering to hear from Democratic mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
At the 13,000-person venue, they were joined by lawmakers like Gov. Hochul, state Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Sen. Bernie Sanders.
This all comes as early voting began on Saturday, and the candidates have been keeping busy campaigning in this final stretch.
City Comptroller Brad Lander joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Monday to discuss more.
“I think Zohran’s gonna win big. There’s just so much energy. So many people out knocking doors. No one’s out knocking doors for Andrew Cuomo,” he said.
