TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Police are investigating after a person was hit by a car in the city of Troy. It happened Monday evening in the area of 2nd and 117th Street.

Police said the driver remained at the scene, and the pedestrian was taken to the hospital.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
