Tyson Fury's father, John, has urged his son to stay retired amid reports that the former boxer is planning a comeback to the ring.

The Wythenshawe-born former world champion has previously said he will fight Oleksandr Usyk in a proposed trilogy showdown at Wembley Stadium. Fury retired from the sport in January - just one month after his unanimous-decision defeat to the Ukrainian in the second fight between them.

Usyk won the first fight in May 2024 by split decision, while Fury has been tipped to return to the ring eventually. However, Usyk is likely to face Fabio Wardley next after the British boxer stunned Joseph Parker on Saturday at London's O2 Arena.
