In a move to recover over ₹750 crore in outstanding dues from builders, the police department has agreed to serve notices issued by the Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority (K-RERA) to developers found violating regulations. Homebuyers have long been urging K-RERA, the Revenue Department , and the state government to take decisive action to recover dues from builders accused of breaching norms, including delays in handing over flats.
