Manly have announced the retention of Tom Trbojevic on a new one-year deal.
Trbojevic has agreed to take a pay cut to remain at the NRL club, accepting an offer of about $900,000 to stay put until the end of 2027. It ends what has been a long and at times adversarial negotiation period. The 29-year-old fullback at one point considered his options in the English Super League .
However, the parties have come to an agreement, avoiding what would have been a public relations disaster after Manly captain Daly Cherry-Evans opted to leave at the end of the club’s 2025 campaign.
