Denise White, the business manager of Pro Football Hall of Famer Antonio Gates, has responded to the allegations that her client was involved in an illegal poker game backed by the mafia.

On Saturday, a new report stated that Antonio Gates hosted and competed in a “rigged” poker game in Miami, Florida. The game was allegedly organized by Curtis Meeks, one of 31 people arrested by the FBI for their involvement in an illegal sports betting ring that included fixed poker games.

Portland Trail Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups, Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier and former NBA player Damon Jones were among those arrested last week. Billups and Rozier were placed on leave by their respective teams.
