PEMBROKE — UNC Pembroke will offer a free, two-week bioprocessing course to prepare individuals for entry-level roles in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry. The training will be held from Dec. 8-19, at UNC Pembroke’s Biotechnology Research and Training Center, located at Carolina Commerce and Technology Park (COMtech) at 115 Livermore Drive in Pembroke.

The course will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day and is open to adults aged 18 or older who have earned a high school diploma or GED. With only 12 spots available, early registration is recommended. Interested participants can register through the biomanufacturing training webpage.
