TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - After a rough start to the season, the Florida A&M Rattlers have stabilized and then some. FAMU is now 2-1 in SWAC play following a convincing win at rival Southern over the weekend and is now set to host another rival in Jackson State in a game that could decide the SWAC East race.

This the first time the Orange and Green will host JSU since joining the conference in the 2021, last year the two’s first league matchup in Jackson ended in heartbreak for FAMU. Now with momentum on their side and home field advantage, the Rattlers will look to return the favor to the Tigers, but head coach James Colzie knows his team will have to be at their best no matter the venue.
