Purdue coach Katie Gearlds found herself in a position this offseason that has become uncomfortably familiar for her in recent years: Needing to overhaul a roster that did not win at a high level and lost some of its most productive players on top of that.
In order to rebuild following a disappointing 10-19 campaign, Gearlds focused on adding two elements: Shooting and experience.
The result is a roster that is loaded with pinpoint shooters, most of whom have also spent time as productive college basketball players.
