As almost everyone knows, the course is impressive. The list of teams isn’t bad either. The Clerico is being held at Southern Hills Country Club this week. The 54-hole event is named after John and Cheryl Clerico and hosted by ORU.

Monday featured 36 holes for the 12 teams entered, and by the end of the day, half the field was able to finish before darkness halted play. Among the teams with two rounds in the books- defending national champion OSU. The Cowboys trail Auburn by one stroke. The Tigers are led by top-ranked amateur Jackson Koivun. OSU’s Gaven Lane leads the Cowboys individually at 4-under for the day. Preston Stout fired an after-round of 66 and is at 1-over par. ORU was also among the six teams that completed the 36 holes, and the Golden Eagles sit 8th.
