Former Bix 7 assistant race director Dan Breidinger passes away at 72

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - The Quad City Times Bix 7 community is mourning the loss of former longtime assistant race director Dan Breidinger who passed away at the age of 72. Breidinger served as the elite athlete coordinator bringing dozens of the world’s best runners to Davenport for the Bix. He became good friends with two-time Bix 7 champion Meb Keflezighi who paid tribute to Breidinger on his Facebook page .
